Legally, all cosmetic products sold or placed on the UK or EU market must have an assigned Responsible Person (RP) in each respective market.
The legal obligations of the Responsible Person are much more than just providing their registered address for the product pack. The Responsible Person is the party that accepts the obligations for the safety and compliance of the cosmetic products.
COSMESURE®’s fee structure is based on the number of products you’d like us to represent and the markets you’d like us to represent you in. We also charge a one-off compliance review fee to review the compliance of each product that we represent. Our goal is simplicity and transparency. Once we've registered your products, the maintenance of your PIFs is included in our service for free of charge.

ASPECTS OF YOUR PRODUCT WE’LL REVIEW:

We'll review your formulations to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidance and codes.

If you already have a PIF then we'll review it to ensure it is in tip-top condition. If you don't have a PIF yet then we'll author one for you. All of our PIFs are best-in-class and gold standard.

We'll review your labels to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidance and codes.

If you don't have a CPSR yet, then we can procure one through our trusted third-parties. If you do have a CPSR then we'll review it for you.

If you don't have stability studies or challenge tests where needed then we can procure these for you through a trusted third party. If you have them already then we'll review them for suitability.

Yes, the rule is that the product laws of where the consumer is based apply. If you sell a product to a consumer in France, French laws govern the formulation, labeling, and packaging of the product etc, in addition to EU laws.
